Coverage only applies to injuries sustained during NTSSA-sanctioned events (games, practices, or tournaments).

NTSSA insurance is secondary—it applies after any personal health insurance has been billed. If you don’t have personal insurance, NTSSA becomes your primary provider.

Deductibles: Youth Policy: $500 Adult Policy: $400

Each policy has specific limitations. For details, view the Benefit Explanation Sheet provided by NTSSA.

Insurance Coverage Overview

All GSSA players are covered under the North Texas Soccer Association (NTSSA) insurance policy. A portion of each player’s registration fee contributes to this coverage.

Key Points:

What To look for while injuried

When to Seek Care

Visible Injury or Persistent Pain

If a player has swelling, bruising, limping, or pain that doesn’t improve with basic first aid (ice, rest, elevation), it’s time to see a doctor. This includes suspected sprains, strains, or fractures.

Head Injury or Concussion Symptoms

If your child experiences dizziness, confusion, nausea, blurred vision, or sensitivity to light after a collision or fall, seek immediate medical attention to evaluate for a possible concussion.

Limited Mobility or Loss of Strength

If a player is unable to move a limb normally, bear weight, or use a muscle group without discomfort, a professional assessment can help rule out serious injury and guide safe return to play.
