More Field Information

Pet Policy

To maintain a safe, sanitary, and distraction-free environment, GSSA enforces the following pet policies:

  • No pets allowed on the field or in player areas at any time.

  • U4–U6 games: No pets near sidelines, goals, or bleacher areas.

  • U7 and older games: Dogs must be leashed and remain at least 10 yards away from other spectators and the field.

Please be courteous and help us provide a safe environment for all participants.

Lightning & Weather Cancellations

Lightning detection systems are active at both Grapevine and Southlake fields.

Lightning is a severe hazard that must be viewed seriously. Everyone should immediately seek shelter any time they believe lightning threatens them, even if a signal has not been sounded.

You will be warned by our Thor Guard lightning prediction system, which sounds one 15-second blast of the horn signaling suspension of all activities. (If equipped, a strobe light will begin flashing and remain flashing until safe conditions return). You should immediately seek an appropriate, safe shelter.

You may resume activities only after three 5-second blasts of the horn are sounded and the strobe light, if equipped, stops flashing. If you remain outdoors after the warning is issued, you do so at your own risk!!!

Field Etiquette & Maintenance

Help us keep our parks beautiful! After every game or practice, please:

  • Collect all trash—even if it’s not yours

  • Encourage your team and spectators to clean up their area

  • Report excess trash to your field commissioner

  • Be a good example for players and other families

Together, we can preserve our access to these fantastic facilities.

911 Information

911 - Monday, March 26, 2012

Due to cell towers and our close proximity to other cities,  you may or may not get Grapevine 911 when playing at Grapevine Fields.

Should you use your mobile phone to dial for 911 services and receive another 911 say transfer me to Grapevine 911.  DO NOT hang up and keep calling, the 911 personnel will transfer you accordingly.

Meadowmere Overflow Parking

If you have an upcoming game at Meadowmere, please note that the City of Grapevine has made overflow parking available to help relieve parking congestion.

If the main parking lot (Option 1 on the map) is full, please use the overflow lot (Option 2) across from the 114th RC Aero Squadron Field.

A third option on the map is additional parking at the Perch East Lane lot. However, be aware that this is a paid parking facility.

Finally, if you choose to park along the fence line that borders our Meadowmere fields, please note that the City will ticket your vehicle if it is not parked nose-in or if you park in areas marked No Parking.
