NTSSA allows players in the U7 through U10 age groups to play both recreational and academy soccer. Academy soccer is typically for players seeking more advanced levels of play than recreational soccer. GSSA does not offer academy or club teams, so players must join an academy league in order to play on an academy team. Player registration is completed through that league; however, according to NTSSA by-laws, if a player is playing recreational soccer, that player must also register as an academy player through their home association. This should be done each season (fall/spring). Please note 2 options and select the one that applies to your player.

1) Players playing both REC through GSSA and Academy through our partner club, Solar Soccer Club, can register as an academy player through GSSA and fees are covered under club registration. These players use the NTSSA Academy Player ONLINE Registration Form 23/24 found under forms in the player account. No fees apply.

2) Players playing REC through GSSA and Academy through an outside club OR players playing ONLY Academy soccer through an outside club (not Solar Soccer Club) can register through GSSA for a $25 annual fee. This needs to be completed online.
