The GSSA board has adopted the following policy on dogs (including other leashed animals) for insuring a safe, non-distracting and sanitary environment for the participants, support volunteers and spectators:

• No dogs are not permitted on the playing fields and players areas at any time.
  
• Dogs or other pets required to be on a leash by the city of Grapevine or Southlake are not allowed at the U4-6 sidelines, goal lines, or bleacher area during game or warm-up.
• Dogs are permitted at U7 and older divisions, but must be kept 10 yards or more from other seated spectators, bleachers and sidelines.

Dear Coaches, Players and Parents

This is a friendly announcement to keep our Grapevine Facilities and soccer fields in great shape all year long.  We have the privilege of being part of a great community where our children can enjoy beautiful parks, nice weather (most of the time), and grow as athletes.

It is in our best interest to preserve the public welfare of the parks with our utmost effort. As Field Commissioner I urge each one of you to take the responsibility to clean your area of the field, and the near surrounding areas after every game.  With several leagues using the fields, trash is bound to be left behind.

Even if the debris are not yours, I urge you to take the initiative to be a Good Samaritan and pick it up anyway. If a party needs to be reminded, gently ask them to clean the area. Once this is accomplished, report the time and place where excessive trash was left. We will try to rectify the issue and alert the party involved.

The GSSA Field Commissioners will make the decision as to field status by 4 p.m. on weekdays; by 7:30 a.m. on Saturdays and by 10 a.m. on Sundays. 

Storm conditions, lightning, and extreme temperature typically factor into the decisions. Please check the website prior to your game.

DON'T assume that your game is cancelled until the website says the field is closed!
