Insurance and health-related information for GSSA players

(and players on other teams that are part of North Texas Soccer)

GSSA players are provided insurance coverage through North Texas Soccer Association. A portion of player registration fees helps pay for this coverage.
Here's what you need to know:

  • North Texas Soccer insurance covers only injuries sustained during NTSSA sanctioned events.
  • All NTSSA medical insurance is secondary coverage that becomes primary coverage if you do not have any other insurance coverage.
  • The deductible for the Youth policy is $500 and $400 for Adult coverage.
  • Each policy has limitations that are clarified on the benefit explanation sheet.

Need treatment for an immediate injury?

If you or your player is injured, Ouch Ortho – official provider of Sports Medicine & Orthopedics for GSSA – will have staff available weekdays (M-F) from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to ensure that GSSA players can receive medical attention within 20 minutes of an injury.

Parents will simply need to call ahead to (800) 682-4220 to meet a physician at the Southlake Precision Ortho Express clinic location: 431 East State Highway 114, Ste. 120, Southlake.
